Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band are an indie rock band from Seattle, Washington, known for their energetic sound and quirky, unpredictable style. The band gained attention not only for their music but also for their unconventional promotional tactics and lineup, which included a teenage drummer.

Formed in 2008, Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band was initially a project between Benjamin Verdoes and his then-adopted brother, Marshall Verdoes, who was just 14 years old at the time. The band quickly expanded to include other members, creating a fuller and more dynamic sound.

Their music is characterized by a blend of frenetic rhythms, angular guitar work, and a mix of catchy melodies with off-kilter, sometimes chaotic arrangements.
