Makeness is the moniker of Kyle Molleson, a U.K.-based producer and musician whose genre-bending sound fuses gritty electronic textures with organic instrumentation and emotionally charged vocals. Known for crafting dance music that feels both fractured and deeply human, Makeness blends buzzing guitars, post-disco rhythms, and falsetto vocals into tracks that sit at the intersection of club culture and experimental rock.

Molleson was born and raised on the Isle of Harris, a remote island in the Outer Hebrides off the west coast of Scotland. Surrounded by natural beauty and steeped in the traditions of Highlands folk music, he developed an early appreciation for melody, rhythm, and storytelling. After moving to Dorset, England, he began playing in rock bands and delving into the world of music production, eventually relocating to Leeds to study at university.
