Here We Go Magic

BIOGRAPHY

Here We Go Magic was an American indie rock band based in Brooklyn, New York, known for their eclectic blend of psychedelic rock, lo-fi textures, and hypnotic rhythms. Formed in late 2008 by singer-songwriter Luke Temple, along with Michael Bloch and Peter Hale, the band began as a solo project before expanding into a full ensemble. They initially released music on the indie label Western Vinyl, garnering attention for their experimental soundscapes and layered songwriting. In 2009, after evolving into a five-piece lineup, the band signed with Secretly Canadian, a move that marked the beginning of a broader recognition in the indie music world. Throughout their career, Here We Go Magic became known for their mesmerizing live shows and genre-defying recordings, drawing comparisons to artists like Radiohead, Can, and Paul Simon, while maintaining a distinct artistic voice.
