Electric Youth

BIOGRAPHY

Electric Youth is a Canadian synth-pop duo hailing from Toronto, Ontario, consisting of vocalist and songwriter Bronwyn Griffin and producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Austin Garrick. Known for their nostalgic yet forward-thinking sound, Electric Youth blends shimmering synthesizers, emotive vocals, and cinematic production to create music that bridges the gap between retro 1980s pop and contemporary electronic music. The duo first gained widespread recognition with their breakout track "A Real Hero", a collaboration with College that was prominently featured in the 2011 cult film Drive. Since then, Electric Youth has continued to refine their dreamy, synth-laden aesthetic through critically acclaimed albums and emotionally resonant performances, establishing themselves as a defining voice in modern synth-pop.
